A reminder to all members: The Pennsylvania Liquor Code requires all members to produce proof of membership when requested. All guests must be accompanied by a member unless attending a private event catered by the club. Thank you for your co-operation.
HALFWAY TO ST. PATRICK’S PARADE
The St Patrick’s Parade Committee will be having a “Halfway to the Parade Fundraiser” at the Columbian Home. All proceeds will be used to finance the pipe bands and other parade costs.
Come out and support the parade with a Guinness (or two), enjoy music by the Rogue Diplomats, Irish Food, Best legs in a kilt contest and as the Irish say “Great Craic”.

Issues Concerning the Organization –
As you are probably aware, the Columbian Home is required to follow various rules and regulations enacted by a number of government agencies.
With that in mind, we need to remind our members that the Allentown Health Bureau prohibits any food not prepared by a licensed establishment to be brought onto our premises. While the board understands and appreciates our members generosity, please do not bring any food from home into the club. We do not need issues with the Health Bureau.
Additionally, our club is required to have the bar staff certified by the PA Liquor Control Board “Responsible Alcohol Management Program” (RAMP). To help comply with this program, and for the safety of our members, we have instructed or bar staff to limit liquor consumption to no more than three (3) double servings per visit. Our goal is to protect both our members and the organization. Please do not complain to the bartenders. They are just following state law..
