Our Facilities
Cuisine & Catering:
Our exclusive providers of cuisine for both weekly a la carte dining and all catered events is the professional team led by David Miaitico (left) and Matthew Linsenbiglar. Both bring decades of experience to their respective roles at the Columbian Home.
Their creativity and commitment to the success of every guest experience makes The Columbian Home the Lehigh Valley’s most tasteful choice for both weekly dining and your business or family’s catered gatherings and events.

The Anchor Bar
Occupying the rotunda of The Columbian Home is the famous Anchor Bar, where there is no such thing as a bad seat. Enjoy the panoramic view of the scenic grounds or catch your favorite sporting event on one of the large screen TVs. The full-service bar is well stocked with top brand spirits, wine, and draft or bottled beers and the welcoming Anchor Bar staff will get to know your favorite beverage and preferred preparation in no time!
Our Dining & Banquet Rooms:
The Porch
The main dining room, referred to as The Porch for having originally been the veranda of the Victorian mansion, stretches along the expanse of the Columbian Home’s facade. The original stone walls are beautifully preserved and are complemented by large windows, which enclose The Porch comfortably and offer an expansive view of the verdant grounds and The Deck.
The Red Room
Adjacent to the Anchor Bar and the main dining room is the dining area known as The Red Room, which boasts an impressive mantle over a working gas fireplace and original architectural details such as oak paneling and leaded glass windows. The Red Room seats up to 24 guests and is also available for use during Special Events and Banquets.
Main Ballroom
The Main Ballroom is a grand chamber with coffered ceilings, a large hardwood dance floor and three original fireplaces, all illuminated in the warm light of the Tiffany glass windows that flank the regal staircase. The Main Ballroom’s dining area seats 80 to 100. This room is available for use during Special Events and Banquets, with or without the complement of The Red Room.
